The illustrations are of buildings that I was interested in while walking around the city and shops that I visited with someone. I take a picture and draw it as a reference, but when I make a picture, I think about what kind of pattern should be used to bring out the goodness and uniqueness of the building, and devise color combinations and brush touches. This is a series that I personally cherish.
